@Ramhead Nevermind I found the block diagram.
No problem man, glad you've found it!
I saw your vid earlier this week, the same day I got notification of the pedal's release by dry bell.
I'm seriously considering picking up one of these.
More vids. Loving what I hear so far.
That sounds absolutely fantastic
Now this is settled it’s time for an echorec!
A bit off topic, but what kind of cable/patch cord is used in that first pic in the thread?
Give me a jack to plug in an external defeat switch for the compressor circuit, and I'd be sold. I'm just not sure how I'd get along with all the effects in it being tied together. It's not versatile enough to bump anything off my board.
I love my Vibe machine V2. This guys do quality stuff, but the only thing I could see this replacing is my Duncan pickup booster (clean boost for leads). But that's a pricey bump!
Sounds great in the demos though.
I can't believe how hard I'm GASing over this.
I’m coming from the other direction. I have a pretty minimal board with wah, vibe, tremolo, and delay so I’m not looking to replace things as much as address a couple of problem areas.
I have a fulldrive 3 that makes appearances and only really use the boost of it when I do so it takes up space that it doesn’t need to. The other problem is that it’s full frequency so sometimes it’s just too much with humbuckers. The Unit67’s tuned boost looks great and the compressor is gonna be much more useful than the dynamics knob on the fulldrive, which I do like a lot.
My other issue is that I have a glaswerks amp that sometimes doesn’t get along well with a neck humbucker the way I dial it in so I’ve been considering taking the Jon Herrington approach with an RC booster to cut the bass when that pickup is engaged. But then I’m just buying an entire pedal to cut bass on the rare occasion I need that.
I also imagine it will take care of what I used the Secret Preamp for and also eliminate the impedance issues that came with it.
The Unit67 looks like the perfect problem solver for me. I can get a more usable boost/compression and a more versatile EQ section at a fraction of the space on the board, one 9v tap, and less cabling. Plus it has a buffer, which is really the only question mark in my rig at this point because my amp doesn’t like some buffers....
I own their Vibe Machine and its an amazing uni-vibe pedal.
I was starting to look for a compressor lately, and I though "maybe I should wait for that new Drybell pedal to come out and see what it is .." guess I made the right decision.
I was wondering if I should get a boost and also after watching Brian Wampler's video on EQ after distortion I'm kinda curious to see the Unit67 perform after dirt...
Can't wait to see more demo of this beauty

I was thinking of getting a compressor pedal. I had been thinking of getting a Walrus Audio Deep Six and saw this on Pete Thorn's instagram page and thought it sounded great. I must admit that I am leaning this way now. Cool pedal for sure!
It's quite incredible- I LOVE it really.
Great demo! I might have to snag one of these
Thanks! it makes EVERYTHING better basically, ha. Clean stuff, dirty stuff, etc it just increases the flexibility and improves the tone of your whole setup. It'll make a clean sound speak better and it'll make a crunchy tone explode. Super cool.
Great demo Pete! And KILLER solo you pull off there! Do you think this would work into an 18watt 6L6 tweed deluxe which already compresses a bit? Looking to open up my clean sound’s top end.. I’m also very nitpicky about dynamics, and even though I know this is a compressor, I hate pedals that sound like a pedal if you know what I mean.
I'm getting one.
