Dual 250k pot, any recommendations

Hi,

I have a JD tele with a set of suhr pickups, one strat and one bridge tele, and because I have the fishman and power bridge (Tone), I am after a dual 250k pot for tone and volume. Any recommendations?

Is there anyway of converting a 500k pot to a 250 pot?

Look in stewmac.com, warmoth, guitar parts usa etc. - I'm sure one of them will have what you want.

I think what you do is wire a resistor into the circuit in parallel with the pot but will stop here and let someone who actually knows their stuff to provide the specifics!

Thanks old Tele Man, I have tried all the usual places for a dual 250/250 pot, but have not managed to find one. Is there a resistor that is better, more musical that you would recommend?
