1. The Gear Page is run by musicians for musicians. We listen, we learn and if we misstep we are not afraid to do the right thing. We proposed some changes to the Emporiums. Based on feedback from members, we have decided to not go ahead with those changes. However, it has also highlighted that we need some community input into what is working and what is not working for members here. Primarily focused on the Emporiums, we'd like input on your thoughts about TGP and how things work in the Emporiums for you and how you'd improve them. The discussion thread on the is here!

No, F-spaced means the pole pieces on the pup are spaced to better fit tremolo units. It has nothing to do with scale length, but alot of 25.5" guitars have trems...hope that helps.

It does help thank you. I have a fixed bridge, string through guitar and just wasn't sure if I needed F spaced or not.

You should be aware that some of the newer hardtail bridges have wide enough string spacing to require F-spaced pickups in the bridge position. If you measure the string spacing between the first and last saddles it can be determined whether F-spacing is required.

A standard spaced pickup is about 50mm from E to E poles. An F-Spaced is about 53mm. You can measure the distance between your E strings over the pickup to get some idea of what you need.
