I have an opportunity to buy a Dumble ODS clone built by Richard Lovato. Anyone have any experience with one of these? You can PM if want to stay out of any potential craziness that Dumble threads can turn into.

go by exact circuit, not necessarily by builder.
between TGP, Ampgarage and the Ceriatone forum you can find a lot of info.
most Dumbles (the famous ones at least) basically were one-off variations on a certain "generation" theme, tweaked by HAD for the original owner (and sometimes a 2nd or 3rd time later on), so being specific really matters big time.
    ymmv,

I have an 80s voiced Mark Kane Overdrive Special and love it. Not to be confused with a "clone".

I’ve owned a couple of great Ceriatone amps built by Nik, I miss the sound of the HRM100 BM every day but had to sell because of weight

As the thread starter of the thread gigs’ linked to, I’d advise not buying it from Rich for reasons detailed in the thread. However, if it’s out in the wild, it should be judged on its own merits. Definitely try it out to see if it works for you.
