He also has an Alessandro amp(which he mispelled) and a matchless supposedly for sale. Read the descriptions on both of those. Do what you want but I would stay away.

He's got the bill of sale for the matchless. He also has over 1250 deals with a 100% rating. If I had the cash I wouldn't hesitate if it was stuff I wanted.

So he's probably Mexicon and not 100% on with the english. It wil be interesting to see what the stuff goes for.

There isn't anything in these auctions to make me think it's not 100% legit.

I live 45 minutes from the seller. I emailed him and asked if I could come over and check out the amps. His response.......

Sorry, I don't accept any TESTs at my home before the end of auction!

I'm no expert butt, that wasn't the answer that I was expecting. Enter at your own risk !!!!

I dont ever let anyone come by when I auction gear either. An item like this is well above what I have sold and I dont let people just drop in. If they were known to me or maybe someone from this site with a major history and even then it would be a maybe, big time.

I know from doing craigs list deals that letting strangers in your house to touch your gear is not a good idea.

I'd give him the price on the Tranny, that's it.

"THis power amp has 200 WATT Very powerful and sharp like Vox-30"

    Sure it does...

He's got 1248 buys (mostly for furniture and other odd antique items) and 2 sales. One for was an 11 dollar Ikea coffeetable set and the other a 45 dollar chair. Looks like he sold a lot of guitar straps and things last week but nobody has posted feedback yet. It could be a stolen account.....

This eBay listing is a scam.
I asked for a pic of the matchless "tranny"
And he asked what that meant.
Who has a dumble, Alessandro, and Sampson era Matchless and doesn't know what a "tranny" is?

You guys saying this isn't legit... really?

    6+ years with eBay.
    1200+ positives.
Most all of them for purchases of fancy $300+ items...
The guy is selling one of the least valuable dumbles ever.
He shows unique pictures. (I have never seen this amp before).....

Exactly WHAT is the problem and the big red flag you guys are all worried about?

So he read 200 watts on the rear of his amp (a courtesy jacks says what?) and reports it as working wattage.,
He doesn't want to invite strangers into his home to see the Dumble he is selling. (and maybe the others that he is not selling).,
And "trannie" only makes him think of this one time in hollywood he would much rather forget...

    :bonk

Consitent photography and backgrounds for all of his amps... They would have all had to been lifted from the same site if this was not legit.

I don't know ??? Maybe he comes across estate sales, buys things and then re-sells items and really does not know what they are?

Easiest way would be to ask Ken Fisher or the who ever makes Dumble amps ?

It does look like a well made amp and at least worth $1000.

He probably "picked it up" and doesn't actually play it. a Dumble that sounds like a vox??? How about a BMW that drives like a pinto. Obvious.
There have been many times where an old 1950's lester was found in a dead guys attic and sold at a local auction.

This thread is fun for grins and all, but seriously... there are some things you just don't buy on eBay. Dumbles, Rolex watches, cars, or real property for starters.
