This is the first time I see a Haar guitar outside of the Netherlands. How did you get it? Are those Suhr V60 LP pick-ups?

I believe Erik sells lots of them in Germany,

    http://www.realguitars.de/htm/haar.htm

and I remember LordRiffenstein showing his latest Haar a few weeks ago, and as I remember he's from Belgium.

    Btw, great guitar Sam! Enjoy!

And for me, I don't think I'll find one of Erik's under the Christmas tree, as he's still looking for a nice piece of flamed maple for the neck ..... :BEER

Are all of his guitars so aged as yours? Or did you ask for extra?

There's relic, and then there's beat to hell!:Devil

The case is too clean for that guitar. It just seems to me that a guitar that looks like it's been through that much would have a case that took the worst of it.

Relics are not my taste, but I can understand why they are popular. Congrats on your new instrument.

just bumping this thread as I just ordered myself a nice light aged strat from Erik. I'm excited!

I love the look of this haar, sam! How does it play? Does it have the stock specs? (oiled neck, 6105 frets, nitro body, haar trem)

Here are the specs of mine. I decided to choose different than stock:

    -Light Alder body
-PLAIN Maple/Brazilian RW with 6100 frets, round C shape , haar "fat" neck, 9-12 compound radius
    -Suhr V60LP pickups
    -Haar Trem
    -klusons

I opted for a light nitro finish for the neck, and a nitro LPB aged finish, with some light relicing on the armrest/tummy cut. Also lightly aged hardware and parts. Here's what I asked Erik to make it look closely like (which is one of his past creations BTW):
