So looking at the Bongo thread, wandered over to EB/MM, saw the Big Al, immediately fell in love with it and I don't even play bass. Anyone know anything about it? When it will be available? Street $$?

    Sigh... It's yummy!

I have one on order...hopefully I should be one of the first people to get one.

Price should be around 1.6k depending on what options you want.

actually it's a pretty logical layout for such a completely psychotic instrument. on/off button for each pickup, passive/active button, master volume and eq knobs.

I'm very interested in seeing how the Big Al and the 25th Anniversary balance. I can also see that S-S-S config being a TON of fun.

I'm just curious on phase cancellation, also if there is a series/parallel function. I just see that neck SC and think mud. I'd be suprised if it were, but just looking at it...not my thing. But hey, if my local GC gets one, I'd be happy to try it and I WILL publicly state that I was wrong.
