Including the Sweet Home Alabama Strat. I can't believe no one here is talking about this.

The entire collection is up at Cartervintage.com

Interesting about the Ray Gomez connection - I guess this is the same ‘58 Les Paul in action.

Without even a consensus on the key it's in? Kind of doubt it.

Not to mention he picked up a 53 les paul and 61 slab board strat last year. Dude is making serious coin I guess. Either way that guitar belongs in his hands and not in a collectors hands.

    For real, it was $650k!

I’m wondering if Ed’s wife and or Carters still owns a piece of it? It’s not unusual for these things to be group owned.

Or he got the buddy price.

Either way, it’s in the hands of one of the most musical players on the planet. Great news.

I don't really know who he is. I thought he was just a country singer/songwriter?

Isbell tours all the time and hits a lot of festivals, he's probably doing okay.

He is, but his gig before was as the lead guitar player for the Drive by Truckers. That’s where I first heard of him.

Killer player, I bet you’d like him.

Is probably the most critically acclaimed, best songwriter(imo) of that ‘10’s Dave Cobb produced group.

    They dude can play...and write.
