I know this happened months ago, but I never saw it here, and i'm betting a lot of people missed this news like I did. She was found dead on a campsite. I think to this day the cause of death was not disclosed. I'm guessing it's likely drug related. She passed away only 4 years after her father.

Here is a clip from a pilot of what was a potential reality show on Ed Roman's guitar shop in vegas. It's weird watching them together in it, knowing they are both gone.

Not a big fan of how Ed Roman treated people based on how much money they were spending, or how much exposure they could bring to his guitars, but I think they did make some good, unique guitars, and they were a significant presence in Las Vegas for many years.

Could have been a cool show.

    So sad.

I wish it weren't true, but I am surrounded by ER's dotters (and sonz) down here. Tired of this. But also deeply saddened. Thinking hard about shooting our research interests for this very reason. Summer is a good time for running pilot programs. On it.

Interesting they use Mosrite in the pilot episode. Kind of like a reality show based on Led Zep writing music and the first song profiled is Dazed and Confused :facepalm

Because Ed Roman's horrific creations were guitars in general?

It's thematic. OP just bought a Mosrite, Mr. Ed featured one in this trailer.

I'm probably in the minority but Ed treated me very well each of the times I bought a guitar from him. His prices were great, he shipped immediately and he didn't scream at me. My memories of the man are fond; others had different experiences.

Too bad about his daughters passing.

Ed was a character, but he did me right on a deal on a spankin' new PRS CE24 in the mid 90's. He took a bath on the trade too (which he always reminded me of). I spent a lot of time at East Coast Music, spent a fair share of $$$$ there. He didn't suffer fools, tirekickers or punks, but if you were genuine and sincere, he treated you right.

    That's weak

This is what drove me nuts about the old Harmoncy Central - guys starting threads in the wrong forum: "Oh, I only check Effects so all my threads including threads about my girlfirend's clamydia are going to be in Effects."
    Let's keep the forums organized.
And the thead is morbid and really doesn't even belong here at TGP.
