    Hi there,

Does anyone have a good quality picture of the Edwards E-LP-98LTS in Tobacco Sunburst?

I would like to know if the dark colour before the burst is actually Black as depicted in every photo I have seen on the net or is a Brown?

    Thanks
    Daniel

Well, I just got one of those yesterday, but I don't have any pics yet.
But I can tell You that it's dark brown rather than black, and it does look much better in real life than in any pics I've seen...

    OK, Brand new pics:

    Hello,

Thanks Emiel and Janne for your pics. It is certainly very nice looking in your pics. Congrats too Janne on your new guitar, the Edwards gives you a lot of guitar for the price I believe.

I have been tossing up between the lemon drop and Tobacco sunbust, but the TS in now in the lead!

    Cheers
    Daniel

Well, the guitar is amazing: bone nut, Gotoh hardware, SD pickups (mine is apparently from a small special run of guitars since it has 2 ´59 pickups instead of the usual JB at the bridge), Perfect frets, great finish and a great sound. :drool

I plays better (and looks better) than any Gibson LP Studio, and most of the standards I've played. I just had a Standard LP Faded home for evaluation and this Edwards blows it out of the water...

And I ended up paying a third of what the Gibson would have costed me...

I've read a lot on the net about Edwards LP models and it lived up to the hype.

It's fatter than a 60´s and slightly slimmer than a 50´s neck. (as the one G-son ships on the Standard faded today).
Yesterday I tried the new LP traditional and I must say that the thickness of the neck is similar although G-son calls it a 50´s neck. I don't know why their 50´s profiles can feel so different, might be the hand finishing on the traditional that takes of bit of the chunkyness...

All in all, the Edwards have a great neck...
