Take a good buffing cloth to the finish. Was recommended on the Tokai Forum.

I would just try by hand first with just a cloth. The person on the Tokai Forum actually got his to a nice shine afters months of regular polishing, but I can't see why some elbow grease and a good buffing cloth couldn't do it in a considerably shorter time. Or if you have a drill and buffer attachments...I would be really careful with this method though, since the lacquer is just a top coat I believe.

Just grab a bottle of Virtuoso polish, hand rub 4-5 layers on it and you'll have it with no tonal changes.
