I'm wondering about the Edwards Teles. I have an Edwards LP and love it, but I searched and only found a couple of threads on their Teles.. Does anyone have any impressions on the Edwards Teles? I'd love to hear!

    Thanks.

Sorry no Tele. However I did get an Edwards Strat in 05. I think their Fender clones are better than their Gibson clone LP`s. I`ve had it over 3 years and it`s a keeper. Amazing wood and QC. Model # E-SE-98R/LT. At that time I was able to order it w/ a 12 in. radius. If I didn`t have a Heatley custom Tele I would get one. Good luck!

thanks, that's great to hear. I have the 130 LTS LP and looooove it. If the strat's better than that, that's some nice strat!

I someone post something somewhere, HC? LPF?, they scored a black Edwards tele that was bound front and back custom style, THEY LOVED IT! Think it had some kind of special switching, too.

Yes, in `05 it was possible to custom order a neck w/ no up charge. Also the serial # does not start w/ ED it is simply numbers. Good luck!

Thanks, yeah I'd seen that first link, but not the second!

I have looked into the fender japan stuff, but it's all vintage radius, and I like a flatter neck. 9.5 or more.

Yep, I hear that's all you get on Edwards, 9.5's. But remember, I said "heard"!

Chinese copy of a Japanese copy! LOL That must be what that second link was!

Hey, why don't you shoot Katana an email on ebay, mijsixstringkatana, and see if he can find an Edwards tele for ya! But don't expect any fast response, I think he's a fairly busy guy. He's sold several Edwards tele's over the past year. He's got a bunch of Fenders MIJ's up right now. All 7.25 radius's of course.

Thanks, maybe I'll give him a try. The trick isn't finding them though, I'm trying to see if people have played them, how they liked them etc.

There's a Telecaster forum. I suppose you already knew that...apologies.

So, any info there? There's gotta be someone somewhere...

That's what I'm thinking, but I'm all over the place on this one still. At the moment (for the next 10 minutes) it's the Edwards vs. one of the Thin Skin AVRI 62s from Wildwood. Twice as much moolah, but....
