- Effect switch too sensitive?

    I'm experiencing a way too sensitive switch on my BOSS GT8 whereas when you use the wah or volume pedal the switch is way to sensitive. You barely have to touch it for it to switch. Usually it's just the opposite with some pedals where you have to hit it hard which is also kind of distracting and annoying.

    I'm thinking of putting some sort of foam pad around the button to where it slows down the motion when it get close to switching. Any other suggestions?

    I think you can adjust this. See p. 91 of the manual, especially point 4.

    Thank you, the pedal never ceases to amaze me, however due complexity I sometimes find it a bit overwhelming when in a hurry or no time to study it.

    No problem. It's been a while since I had a GT-8, but as I recall you could get it pretty much from feather touch and almost impossible to activate.
