    I'm curious about the effect.

I understand we will all have our subjective personal favourite versions.

I'm GASSING for a vibe, but believe in my cover band it will have the less application than some other effects which I use regularly for specific songs.

Our band members all have their own Hendrix songs they like, but we simply don't cover any of Jimi's songs and my fear is as much as I'd enjoy the effect personally, it wouldn't get alot of usage live).

So what did you buy, but found you used least?

    Wah

I REALLY wanted a Teese Picture wah, but after I got it, I hardly used it. Just not a wah guy, thought I was but I'm not.

So I'm curious as to whether you use it regularly i.e. you,re getting value out of it as a gigging pedal?

    thanks.

I think wah was the first effect people told me I "must" have.

In truth, I think it's my least used effect, so I get where you're coming from. I still have it on the board despite it's very limited use.

Fulltone Ultimate Octave. I wanted, bought it and found no use for it other than for very occasional fooling around. In terms of gigging, I have no use for it. I need to sell it.

Almost all of them! I hardly use effects outside of wah, delay and OCCASIONALLY some sort of swirly chorus/leslie or tremolo. Actually, even the swirly stuff hardly gets stepped on.

Flangers, vibes, and fuzzes are really cool at home but they just don't fit for me most of the time.

It was the Wah for me. I tried 4 times and never used it enough to keep from selling it for something else...

Zendrive. Sounds great, but I got it two weeks before I scored a Fuchs ODS50. I'll keep it for gigs when I can't use the Fuchs, but I've barely turned it on since then.

Fulltone Octafuzz turned out to be totally useless for my gigging situation.

Moog Ring Modulator for me.... I was excited about the whacky sounds and then, ultimately, used it for a tremolo...... cool pedal that was just too big and unusable to have on my board.

Mine would have to be my original 70's MXR DynaComp. I mean, it's great and all, but I just don't like compression and limiting I suppose.

There's 3 type of pedals for me

1 pedals I use all the time, if they are not on the board(s-I have 2) then they rotate a lot

2 pedals I use some of the time, they sometimes go on the board or I use them at home or for recording (at home).

3 pedals I dont really use enough to justify keeping.

My Mojo Vibe has been up for sale but I've been using it again. So it's really a '2'.

Wah - fun to play with, but not something that I'd use in my own music.

Vibe and flanger. Really couldn't find a use for either in our band. Delay's essential for me (prefer it over reverb). I never had much use for compressors, until I tried the FX Mirage, which just adds meat to your tone without squashing the signal. (I gather the Barber does a good job at this as well.)

I love a good vibe, and have owned one for 3 years or so. It was not a mistake. :)

Analogman Chorus. Don't get me wrong, it's a great sounding pedal, but I spent big $$ on this pedal and only use it for one song (from a setlist of 20). I've thought about selling it but I know the minute I do I'll need it again. GAS Sucks!

Octavia for me. Cool sound but unless I'm doing hendrix covers I have no real need for one.
