Has anyone ran their delay through the efects loop on a SUHR Badger?
I am using a MAXON AD999 and it sounds horrible through it!

I was under the assumption that modulation is supposed to go in the effects loop?
My DR Scientist RRR sounds great through it.

    Am I missing something?

Did you ask them? They are the best.
I have the badger18 and my SuperDelay sounds perfect through the loop.
Maybe it's because the effect loop is buffered.
    I cant help you, sorry!

How does it sound horrible? My guess is that you are not running the amp clean. If you run the amp dirty using the power scaling feature and put a delay in the loop it will be like running the delay before a distortion box which is never good. Delays need to be after distortion.

The Badger is a very unique amp giving the user the ability to control the gain stages of the preamp and power section. So, you can easily saturate the power section giving you the feel and tone of a cranked amp. The Loop just like other amps are placed in the middle of the signal chain, so when you run a delay or time effect through the loop of a saturated power section its essentially like you plugging in a delay through the front end of a distorting preamp. It doesn't really sound right. Its really about signal chain order.

When I had the Badger I ran a line out for my effects.

Deluxe Memory Man, Analog Man Chorus, Boss Flanger, Digitech reverb through the effects loop. All sound great. I set the amp to clean and use pedals into the input for OD and Dist.
