Here is an collection of clips of the Egnater modular series I have put together for Bruce and the elves. Some have been posted before separately, but here they are all together. VOX Ch A Petty-ish

    VOX Ch B Funky Who-ish

VOX Ch A (with Tonefreak prototype tremolo)

    EG5 Ch A (rhythm) and B (lead)

    SL2 B

    COD Ch B (more gain)

    EG5 Ch A (rhythm) and SL2 Ch B(lead)

Thanks for checking out these clips, folks. When I button up my new album in a few weeks, I'll then have more time to post some more little clips. It is always useful to know what people would like to hear, so don't hesitate to let me know here. I'll try to get to new clips in order of people's interest. I've managed to buy almost all the modules now...:jo

I can do the creepy Russian accent too! In retrospect, I wish I didn't baby the dynamics on that track, but I recall when I recored that, I keep looking over at the mic pre volume and it was nearly clipping, so I tried top play it super even while I still had my ideas flowing. If I were to try to recreate that thing, I'd really dig into it more.

I added some live video with the SL module in the original post. Thanks for reminding me Bucksears.

If other Egg-beater users have good clips to throw in for the common welfare, please don't hesitate to add them!

Here’s one more: my favorite clean tone cocktail recipe

    http://www.soundclick.com/util/getplayer.m3u?id=6170450&q=hi

Here is the guitar group solo’ed from the title track from the upcoming West ZooOpolis album with Marco Minnemann.

    Cocktail Recipe:

Amp: live composite of the Egnater Twin/Deluxe preamp in a MOD 50 cranked up on the full power mode until it is getting a little spongy.

To the left is a little of the piezo signal from the RMC hexaphonic bridge in my EB MM Morse.

Wet FX include a little Fulltone CF-1 and Eclipse delay.

Synth: Lastly in the composite cocktail is a little Kurzweil resorgan to the right triggered from an AXON AX 100 and the RMC hex pickups.

    Skake and serve!

I would love for someone to pull some Eric Johnson tones from one of these amps. You could have the fender clean and the plexi drive, add the fuzz up front and rock on!
    Anything like that out there?
    vid or audio..

John does a few EJ covers. Pretty convincing to me.

    Jarret,

What kind of guitar were you using on the Vox A channel clip?
    Humbuckers? Sounds noice.

Here's a rough draft of a tune I'm working on - trying to get ready to re-record with the band soon. Although some of the playing...blah, blah, blah...cough, cough, cough...etc., I think it shows some nice tones you can carve out oif the SL2. A bit rounder and warmer than the EG5 with more percussiveness.
