...saw (and heard) one of these at the MIAC show in toronto in august.

this amp seems to have been tailor-made for me.

    has anyone tried it out?

any threads i might have missed?

Gotta get me one of these as well. Thing is, no confirmation on Canadian dealers.

Got mine on order. Counting the days. If it does everything they say it does, it will be a VERY hot commodity - at least until the others come out with their own versions of it.

I really want to demo these in person, but I think they will be hard to get if you don't preorder...

I am gagging for one of these, not least because of the demos of the Egnater seminar head on u-tube. If Bruce can make anything sound that good, then I'm confident the Rebel will be great as well but in a much smaller package. The seminar head would be overkill for me. This is small and has lots of great features.

Only problem is, I am am in the UK.

Anyone know of UK dealers for Egnater or whether we will be able to buy direct from the USA?

The GC manager where I have mine on preorder told me it is shipping Monday - so may have it sometime next week!

    Can't wait!!

I'll wait a few months until there's some comment on it. It sure does promise to be a winner though. It's great looking design.

I played one at the amp lounge in Feb. '08.

    It's incredible.

    More than enough power too.

The EL84 side sounds pretty Marshally, but still sparkley in a fancy way.

The 6V6 barks with a vintage voice that just kicks butt and sounds cool as hell. I can't wait. I think I might buy the whole mini stack. Or, I might just buy 2 rebels to use as power amps for my M4. I'm sure the FX loop will kick ass if Bruce designed it.

If you've ever played a Budda Superdrive, how does the Rebel's EL84 side compare ?

I love the concept - power scaling/tube blending/simple - but I'm gonna have to wait to hear how the cleans sound.

The trend seems to be to play to the bedroom crowd with low volume high gain. That's cool and I could dig it, but I gotta have good solid cleans. Being able to combine EL84 chime with 6V6 twang/sparkle would be excellent.
