    Nice!
I’m guessing these are all SMD?
Would have been cool to be able to mod it to Violet RH specs, as I doubt they’ll release that one too.

It is a clone of a violet Big Muff circuit, as shown in the video.

Barber Electronics did a limited edition Ram version of the Exacta Fuzz. Would be interesting to compare the two if you can get your hands on the Barber version.

Ah, missed that part - you are correct, sir.

The vid was loading slowly at first on my side, so I jumped ahead. Went back and rewatched it, got the info.

    No way, finally! :)
Can't wait to compare it with the Russian reissue.
Will they make a Deluxe you think? ;)

What makes the Violet Ram's Head different? I thought it was just purple/J. Mascis themed ;p

It looks exactly how I hoped it would, very happy they didnt blow it on the graphics.

As a non-muffologist, does anyone have a high quality, compact resource that explains the difference between the iterations? Video format preferred. Thanks!

Nothing to do with Mascis, other than the fact that he collects them - he was only 8 years old when these were made.

"Violet" is the nickname for that version of the circuit, which was most often found in '73 Ram's Heads with violet silk screened graphics and the round face logo. Violet circuits were also in '73 Ram's heads with red, blue, or black graphics. There were probably more Ram's Heads made with that circuit than any other V2 circuit variant.

I don't know what's wrong with me. I like the plain old NYC Big Muff the best. I had original black and green Russian muffs, and I sold both of them because I preferred the NYC circuit.

JHS did a good one. Does not include the new violet reissue though. Not the best illustration of the tonal differences, but it works.

This one compares all of the recent nano reissues (excluding the new Ram's Head):
