Thank god he got "Breathe" and something from Band of Gypsys in there....whew. I thought I was going to have to call the "Vibe Pedal demo" cops in there.
Cool pedal though!
EHX obviously wants all my money...
Speaking of $$, have they mentioned price anywhere yet? Seems like vibes, good vibes specifically (see what I did there?), tend to run well above the $200 mark. Hoping EHX is going to blow the competition out of the water again with a decent priced unit here.
Now if they will just make a a good sounding, affordable, RAMPING Leslie pedal...
About 100 Euros, so give or take 115 dollars at todays exchange rate..
Pre order in the Uk.
You know...just as soon as my freaking pedal board is under control, EHX comes out with something disruptive. I, too, am curious about price, though. I like the sound of a vibe, but can't justify keeping one on my board for the prices the decent ones command.
Edit: I just saw the post above after I posted mine. A price of $115 or thereabouts is very reasonable.
I just listened to the demo. There's nothing about that vibe that would make me play one over my MJM Sixties Vibe or Foxxroxx Aquavibe. Even my Earthquaker Devices The Depths is at least as good as the EHX pedal. Very chorus - like and not much throb. I won't be needing this one, EHX. Wanna buy my B9 back?
Ugh... Too. Many. Vibe. Choices!
What a POS
if I didn't have my rotovibe I would have seriously considered getting it
just ordered a batch, will see how they sound and if there are any tweaks (already has true bypass).
Looking forward to hearing your thoughts!
not impressed by the demo
Sounds great, but I'll wait for the inevitable Nano version in 6 months.
I'm waiting for the inevitable Super Vibe version.
More like an infield fly.
Sounded pretty damn good to me. A lot like my neo-vibe. Having the expression pedal to control either speed or intensity is a great idea too. I thought it hat a lot of throb and a great asymmetrical pulse. I guess some people are hard to please.
I guess some people haven't heard a decent copy.
That pedal has almost no throb. Play an MJM Sixties vibe, then tell me that EHX is anywhere near that good.
Regardless of what it sounds like, can I get a guarantee that it won't break or be noisy... like THREE (almost half) of the EHX pedals I have owned?
