Im about to pull the trigger on a El Cap in about a week. I was wondering
If they had a wait time? If so how long?

Thanks in advance!

it does with strymon. When it says pre-order it means they are building more. When you're buying now it means they have some ready to ship

This is correct Jesus Freak. I've ordered a BSR and El Cap under the "buy now" and it shipped same day. If it is not in stock you will not see "buy now."

I bought one via the website on Monday. It shipped the same day, and I had it on Friday. UPS took much longer than Strymon did.

Nope. I ordered an El Cap on January 8th or so. It took a while to get here (US to Canada Customs) but the pedal shipped the next day.

The El Cap is such an awesome pedal. Full of tweaking and all the sounds are great. I have had mine since last August and I am still finding such wonderful tones in it!!

Well I did it guys, pulled the ol trigger on an El Cap. Should be here next tuesday.
You won't regret it. I got a Blue Sky in Nov, then recently ordered an Orbit and an El Cap that I've had for a couple weeks. I had to pre-order a Lex. One of the best things with the El Cap is that you can run the mix high and it doesn't overtake your dry signal....very cool. I need to spend some time with all the options, but setting up a good lead patch was a piece of cake.

How are you liking the Blue Sky?? I am in the market for a reverb, but spending 300 for a pedal to use one setting for seems a little redundant. But the shimmer setting has me looking at it hard?

I love the Blue Sky. I am partial to the Plate, but it also has Room and Spring reverb types. The Mod and Shimmer, with the Decay and Mix set high, with the Low and High Damp pegged will make it sound like a synth or organ are tracking your guitar parts. You have to play sparingly to let these patches breathe, so don't overplay and it will sound awesome.
