El Capistan/T1M Favorite Switch

I've read the instructions for setting up the favorite switch and followed the "saving a favorite" directions as closely as I can. I can't get this favorite switch to actually recall a favorite. No matter if the switch is off or on, the pedal just follows the current knob settings. I've tried to toggle to EXP mode and back to FAV mode again, but this didn't change anything. Any ideas?

I've actually talked to another customer who had similar problems. The thing is, we haven't tested those switches with our pedals so we can't really guarantee they are completely compatible.

Just to be sure though, are you using a TRS cable?

Yes...TRS cable. I have a meter...the switch is supposed to connect tip to ring, correct?

Sorry for the delayed response.

The TIP is supposed to switch between the SLEEVE and the RING.

The other customer I mentioned picked up a Strymon FS and it worked fine on his pedal so the issue is most likely the T1M FS so you may want to hit them up to see if they can offer up a fix.
