My daughter, is turning 5 soon and wants a guitar. At NAMM, I saw quite a few small electrics with built-in amps, but didn't have the time to play any of them. Any recommendations on one that is decent enough to stay in-tune, so I can mess around with it as well, without too much frustration? Thanks in advance...

Epiphone released a few models with a speaker in the guitar. Mine is a Moderne. They also did a Flying V.

Fernandes Nomad. The basic one, not the one with the processor... it's a pro quality guitar that looks goofy... and they come in pink.

+1. I used to take a used one I scored for $100 on vacation with me. Sold it, and regret it.
