Eleven Rack Experience and FRFR question

Over the last 6 months of having the 11R I have really grown to love it. Running it direct with some In Ears is awesome, I can get this very 3D sounding sound that I love playing with. Running it direct with whatever monitors are on hand, has been a mixed bag. I really dig the 11R because it's easy to use and it sounds great. Live, I use it in a way like if I had two or more completely different rigs on stage with a Ground Control Pro and Mission Exp Pedal. I'm thinking about going with a monitor of my own, so my tone says the same and more enjoyable while monitoring live. Could I run a monitor that would allow me to hear the 11R and control it on my end and hear the house mix, just like In-Ears?

What's a good choice monitor for the 11R?

I'm enjoying this setup so much, I never thought I would find a piece of digital gear that I enjoy as much as I do my tube amp's and pedal board, with out missing anything while on the gig. I use both, it just depends on the gig. But, I'm thinking with the right monitor, I could end up using the 11R more and I might even early next year get into the Ax Fx stuff, I'm curious about it.

Ev elx 112p has 2 inputs so you can direct feed eleven and have another line with seperate vol for an Aviom mix etc.

There are a number of options you could go. I like what JVSTAT suggested. Also, you could find what ever monitor you like and run it off one of the "Output To Amp" 1/4" outs. You could use a keyboard amp as your "monitor"... or an Atomic amp or Tech 21 Power Engine, or something like that also. You do want to find something that is FRFR tho as the 11R doesn't have the option to have cabinet models going out the XLRs and no cabinet models out the 1/4" - so you'll need to keep that in mind when selecting your options.

Let's see if I get this right... with the EV, I could run the left XLR out of the 11R to the house running direct. Send the Right XLR out into input one on the EV and use it to monitor the 11R. Then have the house send a XLR into the Input 2 of the EV and for overall mix. Using the input volume controls on the EV to set how much of each I want to hear??

Don't know if you can run a house monitor mix as that would be powered. I run one xlr out of the 11 and a line out of an Aviom which is a line level signal not powered, but yes you have 2 independent channels.

You can do that with some caveats.

The XLR's on the Eleven are line level.
I believe only one channel of the EV can be set to line level.
The volume controls on the EV are in the back and down on the floor. Hard to tweak live.
You might get some phasing issues if the Eleven signal is coming back to you in the house mix.

Personally I would be worried about using 2 inputs in a FRFR simultaneously. Why not use your FRFR in conjunction with the house PA/monitors?

I have thought about that, I'd just use the house monitor for the house mix. If you were going to buy a monitor for the 11R and your goal was to hear the 11R in it's purest form, best possible sound quality. What would you get?? Would the EV do that??
