Do you have any problems with feedback on overdriven amps? My MIK Casinos tend to feed back, especially if I'm really overdriving the amp. Can be a pain live, but the sound is killer, so I use them anyway.

I'm really close to pulling the trigger on one of these, but you can never push it like you want until you get into a band situation.

Anybody owned both the MIK and now the Elitist that can give your thoughts? Elitist feedback more? less?

    Thanks

being a hollowbody with p90's, I don't doubt it! It's kind of just the way it is, you could rather put up with it, get a hollowbody with humbuckers, or some sort of semi-hollowbody with p90's. I don't think there will be any difference between whether it's is an elitist or korean made, it's just the nature of the design.

Would it be possible to swap the mini-humbuckers from an elitist Sheraton to p90s? Considering the minis were originally meant to fit that route.

That's what I was thinking. I'll just have to live it it I guess as I do love the sound.

One of the main reason I got rid of my MIK Casino. There's a few mods that you can do about this, I almost did it, but I sold the guitar instead.

One of my biggest regret. I am planning on getting an Elitist, but I haven't seen or played one to compare.

But if you do wanna keep your MIK, there's a few mods out there for it to be usable live like:

Waxing the pickups wax and a foam "center block" installed beneath the pick ups.

I can't remember where I saw the mods, but I think it's on Don Butler's site

I had an Elitist Casino and it was really prone to feedback. I sold it to buy some other gear, but it was a beautiful sounding guitar.

    Complete hollowbody w/ singlecoil p-90s??

If it doesn't scream back at you, something is wrong with it...yes, it is natural.

Less gain is more gain, though, you may come to discover.
