Anyone using the Eminence Delta Pro-12A speakers?

I unwittingly picked up a pair in a closed back 2x12 Mesa cab.
I actually like the speakers. They are less sensitive than the V30s in my other mesa 2x12, but sound much less "colored". They are not necessarily "lifeless" though.

They definitely maintain the guitar and amp sounds very accurately!?!

They are "a little darker" than a real 12L.

    a little darker...
that seems right to my ear, too

very clear passage of guitar and amp characteristics, though

I owned one but I sold it to a friend who needed a speaker before I got a chance to try it out.

Oh, man, a wizard is a 103 dB speaker. I didn't know that. I bet it is a lot louder than a 12L even.

However I thought a 12A had 100dB sensitivity just like a 12L, which would put it about even with a V30 in terms of loudness.

edit: and Now I see the 12A is slightly lower, at 99.2, although many resellers list it at 100db.

99.2 according to their site. Ive got two in my large 3 way stereo speakers. Tried it briefly before installing them but they werent broken in and sounded very stiff. Bob
