I'm still waiting for my Reeza to arrive..... The backorder on Musician's Friend is now 6/30/08, but I was told next week for mine back six weeks ago. I guess it's a 6 to 8 week backlog. I guess that's what happens when you put out a good product then suddenly get noticed.

    Sounds like a Reeza w/ a 3-band EQ!
Now, even if that's all it is for the most part, that should be an excellent pedal.

It's jysk slang (as spoken in jylland in denmark), and I think it basically means little penis, or something small, that sticks out :)
...anyone from jylland feel free to correct me ;)

Perhaps the name was inspired by the rock film "Hedwig and the angry inch"...:D

There is an explanation on the News page of the Emma site.

    It goes like this:

But what about the name - In the Danish language there are a lot of names for a thing without a name or a thing you don't know the name of. In English you'd call it a 'thing' or a 'thingy' - In Danish you can call it: 'Dippedut, duppedit, dingenot, himstregimst' and so on - in southern jutland of Denmark, You call a thingy a Pisdiyauwot, which means a contraption of some sort. So there you go - PisdiYAUwot is a contraption for Metal!

I'm danish myself and contraption, is pretty much what it means, not small dick ;o)

that is exaclty what I was thinking.

All I know about EMMA is that the discombobulator is the best envelope filter i've ever played through.

They're buffered. I have the Reeza and the DiscomBOBulator and I'm not really missing TB.

    TB is overrated IMO :horse

Sounds like the Reeza to me. They did tell me a couple years back (back when they actually responded to my e-mails) that they were coming out with an updated version of the Reeza with more EQ controls. Which is really cool because I like the Reeza, but always was annoyed by it's inherently mid-scooped tone and I didn't really like the tone with the bias knob all the way up.

Playing with my Reeza, wishing it had a 3 band EQ...

Anyone know the status of these guys? Back in June they said they'd be rolling out in August/September...
