ya, each reverb type (which we refer to as modes) can have a variety of submodes. some modes have one submode (like 'ghost'). others have three. we'll be adding more submodes as customers request them in the voting forum. check empresseffects.com/reverb to see all the submodes!

    thanks for the question

Now that this is done, can we focus on expanded versions of the noise reduction and boost found in the buffer plus? Because I could really use those and it feels weird saying that one of my favorite and most important pedals is a buffer.

Maybe if I had two buffers pluses- for twice the noise reduction action?

What do you mean by expanded versions of reduction and boost? If you just want more noise reduction and more boost, that would only require a few part values to be changed. We don't normally do mods, but I'd consider it for such a simple thing. Or if you've soldered SMT stuff before, I could send you the parts with instructions!

Damn, really? Because I live in a place with crappy power so I rely on the nose reduction. Even maxed out, I still get some noise. I got a shiny new noise gate but it kinda sucks in comparison. I just prefer the way the buffer plus works and sounds. I like the current settings but wish it went up another notch it two.

I guess I meant like stand alone, expanded versions of them, with knobs and features and stuff. I just think they are that good. Since I play an ac15, I use it as a clean boost or defacto over drive. And a noise reducer. And a patch bay. And a buffer.

I suppose I'd be happy to send it in, as I'm garbage at soldering and I'm not willing to risk it. I would miss it, though...

    @empress_effects :

Steve, for us folks living this side of the pond, do we have an estimated date of arrival at your major dealers (Thomann, let's say)? And, if available, an estimated market price?

    Thanks!

Okay, just finished the final official specs! They are below. Gotta update the website, some of them are a bit off. So yes, the Reverb can at least do +4dBu (line level), and in most cases, do better.

    Input Impedance: 1M
    Output Impedance: 100
    Output Impedance (transformer): 600
    Frequency Response (-3dB, dry): 10Hz - 50kHz
    Frequency Response (-3dB, wet): 10Hz - 23.4kHz
    Total Harmonic Distortion (dry): 0.09%
    Total Harmonic Distortion (wet): 0.22%
    Dynamic Range (dry): 106.9 dBA
    Dynamic Range (wet: 105.5 dBA
    Output Headroom: +16.2 dBu
    Input Headroom (dry): +10.0 dBu
Input Headroom (wet, no pad): +0.5 dBu
Input Headroom (wet, 6dB pad): +5.7 dBu
Input Headroom (wet, 12dB pad): +10.8 dBu

New to this pedal so I apologize if this has been asked already. I breezed through the sound samples.

Does the mix allow signal to be 100% wet? Or is there always a dry signal attached to the mix?

That's good to know! It would take us at least a couple months to implement. And first, people gotta vote on it!

Only votes in the Empress Reverb New Features Voting Forum are counted. You might want to consider signing up. We got a tree fort and no moms allowed. (Unless you own an Empress pedal and you're a mom. But if you are, your mom isn't allowed. Unless she owns an Empress pedal, and so on). Same goes for dads.

    Empress Effects,

I just read on your website that in Reverse with Decay mode:
"Select Stomp: Decay time becomes infinite when it's held down"

So the reverse reverb decay will continue until I release this knob? As long as I want?
I play mostly ambient music, and this would be fantastic!

I'll have to sign up and vote. I keep going through delay pedals but I think it's a great verb that I'm really after. I have the DIG and a Carbon Copy now and have been considering the Nemesis + looper or the Timeline but with a looper added I'd get your Reverb for sure. Love the isolation transformer, expansion possibilities and most of all, the sounds! (at least from clips posted)

Are you saying that the reverb excepts midi clock?
