ENGL E765/E646 Amp Bundle - V1.0 NON-UAD VST

    it's 249 for the UAD-tethered equivalent, and I'm sure they don't want severely undercut the juggernaut that is Universal-Audio by offering something that doesn't need the Über-priced appollo interface at a fraction of the price. Don't bite the hand the feeds you kind of thing. think about it; Buy 1k-2k+ for a UAD audio interface and THEN buy the bundle, or just buy the VST bundle AND at a significant discount? You'd kill your UAD-pro users /enthusiast market.

    I regrettably bought the UAD versions of these.
    I never use them.
    BTW - I have the Apollo Twin Solo - purchased mostly for UAD amp sim stuff - it was $700 or so (not $1k). I have the ENGL and Softtube Amp Room (which is pretty darn good). I haven't tried the new Friedman sims or the Softtube official Marshall Plexi sim yet.

    Up north here in Canada it's 1k for sure, and I'm sure varies between dealers in the USA. Regardless, still wondering how the stand-alone VST compares to the UAD one. :)
