So I need something to put in front of a DLS (@18V) to kick on for solos that will give me a volume boost as well as add a touch of gain and have narrowed it down to these three pedals. Any opinions on these? I may also consider placing it after the DLS provided it gives me the boost & gain I am looking for.

Looking for thoughts/opinions on just these three pedals. Thanks.

EP will alter the one and it's really best after your dirt.

RC is pretty clean, active eq, some love it, some hate it.

Sex Drive is the shizzle; adds a bit of chime, very clean, can add just a touch of dirt. The Sex Drive is my choice.

How is the added gain from the RC? I like the fact that it has an EQ section to it, just wondering if the gain it can add would be enough....

I know how much the RC has, I have the pedal.
Was just wondering how much the Sex Drive
    has, compared to the RC.

I currently run a Sex Drive and love it before my other OD's. I had an RC for a while. If I'm remembering correctly, I believe the SD has a touch more gain on tap. And the selectable compression is a definite plus. I didn't care for the RC's natural compression and rid of it for that reason. I would also say no to the EP.

I've tried all three, and recently picked up a Lehle "Sunday Driver SW" (Switch). I used it today for a gig, and everyone commented on how great my overdrive tones were! I have the Sunday Driver AFTER my overdrive pedals. It provides more clarity, so my tone cuts through a band mix very well. I think it will be an "always on" pedal, as it makes my OD pedals sound so much better.

My thoughts exactly. If they'd make an EP Pre with a tone knob and a gain control. Could be really interesting.

I'm loving an EP Booster v2 before my overdrives. I have the internal switches set for unity gain and bright/flat EQ (which is labeled bright, but the manual says its flat).

EP is unusably noisy if you use single coils, and the RC was okay at best. I'd spring for the Sex Drive.

Ok so any recommendations for something that'll do boost and gain?

Something is wrong with yours then, mine is dead silent. I love my EP after my dirt pedals!
