Epi Dot nut size?

An annoyingly difficult question to research on line: I need to get a nut for Epi Dot - I am going to buy a pre-slotted.

What size do I get?
I see some on ebay saying they are Epi Les Paul sized - are those the same as Dot sized?

much appreciated.

And BTW - any thoughts on brass nuts?

Measure the current one.(!)
Go to the Graph Tech site and see lots of preslotted nuts in varying widths, thicknesses, and string spacings.

I just measured my Epi Dot Studio nut and it's 1 5/8".

IMHO a bottom end calipers is still miles better than anything that's not a calipers. Learn to use it and many things will become instantly easier, including your current task.
