    On the plus side, it probably moved the 12th fret dead spot somewhere else.

    On the minus side, pretty much everything else.

    Why would you do that to a perfectly functional instrument? I'm sure that chunk of metal screwed to the top doesn't affect tone at all.

    On the upside, I'll be it sustains like a beast!

    I'm telling you...gotta be a recycled busted stock guitar...nobody would be insane enough to just make something this bizarre and ugly without a real legit reason..

    Thanks. Got as close as possible without hitting the logo. Just don't get along with the Epi "dovewing", too bulbous for me.
