I like Epiphone guitars. Especially the Elite Japanese made models. However, I don’t get what is so special about this guitar or Joe B for that matter. He is like the “great white hope” of the blues genre. But good for him in finding a niche and running with it.
I don't like his music at all, but I think he's a good example of someone who's taken a style of music he loves and managed to find a way to forge a successful career in an era where it's very hard to make a good living playing original music, so I have a lot of respect for him. His passion for vintage guitars is very sincere and these Epis give him a chance to put that experience too use (and make a bit of money out of it) putting together guitar specs that a lot of people seem very keen on so it's the same thing really, they're not for me but good on him.
End of the day, if Epiphone wanted to pay me to design a series of guitars... just dm me if you do guys, I've loads of ideas! And I'll do it for half what you're paying Bonamassa!
Love the story, but…it really feels like a cash grab. it’s just an amber/lemon burst epiphone Les paul! I mean, big deal.
