I'm generally a Gibson guy, but I've been looking for a Goldtop LP on a budget. I read some reviews raging about the Epi 56 Reissue with 90's. Apparently it plays, sounds and looks fantastic. Anyone out there have any experience? I believe these came out about 5-10 years ago?

I have a 2005 that I bought used. The original owner replaced the stock P-90s with Fralins. I've heard good things about the Epiphone P-90s, but I've never had a chance to judge them myself.

I've been very happy with mine. Since getting it, I've upgraded the pots and caps, replaced the bridge with a Gotoh replacement, and switched the tuners from Rotomatics to Grover Vintage Deluxe. Heck of a nice gold top on a budget. The neck on mine is a slim 60s. It's not shredder thin, but if you like a fat 50s neck, it might not work for you.
