Has anyone checked out Eric Gales tone on his most recent album and his gigs? A much more woody, toneful sound than I've heard from him in years. I know he has a signature 2 Rock amp now - how much of the tone is from the amp?I hear he mainly uses a fuzz pedal into the clean sound. I wonder is his sound different (better) because he's using the fuzz pedal and working everything off the guitar volume knob?

Oh, and by the way, does anyone know what he uses for chorus/Leslie sounds?

I'm sure I saw a pic on the net recently where he's using a Boss Blues Driver & a Hendrix Cheese Wedge Octavio.

To bump this thread - does anyone please have a photo of Gales current pedal board?

I saw him a couple months back and he was using a EWS Brute Drive for dirt, sounded really thick and woody.

When he kicks in the boost it is almost too much. But in a good way. It is ripping...
