We might be full of bullshirt, but EJ is obviously full of tigershirt, Bengal tiger I believe.

That’s the first live show I’ve ever seen of EJ. Not in person on VCR. That nutcracker toy soldier jacket was insane. And he had this crazy mullet type haircut that kinda looked like Alex Lifesons 80’s haircut. Actually I hate to admit it I had a pretty similar haircut back then myself. Don’t think I would’ve wore the nutcracker jacket though. EJ can definitely play though. But he doesn’t take over a room like SRV did though (another Texas guy). Even though I guess it’s somewhat unfair to compare them to each other cause they are completely different. Only thing they really have in common is they both came up playing in Austin, TX clubs

Me too. Great shirt. I'd like one, please, and one of his 1968 tone.

Interesting... I have seen him a number of times and have seen many videos of him over the years, but I think that this may be the first time I have seen him playing in front of a large audience and NOT playing leads through a Marshall. So in this performance, at least, he was forced to place lead through a Twin (looks like) with pedals only for overdriven tone.

This is fun, three pages on the shirt thing, and I might as well pile in too.

Eric Johnson needs to do what David Lindley did for a long time and wear those crazy patterned polyester shirts!!

And wear sideburns as thick as a unibrow!

Yngwie has the matching jacket… find some pants and you’ll have a whole suit. You’ll get some leg tonight for sure!

He's wearing Sea Island cotton these days. Way better toanz than Egyptian cotton, especially when paired with the sassafras body.
    I can hear it too.
