    Hi There,

Any ideas how one would go about replicating the flowers on an ES295 pickguard on the pickguards of an LP Goldtop?

    Thanks,

    Mark

Pickguardian can do it - they have an ES295 replacement pickguard with flowers on their "archtops" page. And their "custom" page says they can create anything you can dream up. :)

If you wanted to go DIY, you could create a stencil using a good photo or an original ES295 pickguard, then transfer that to your LP guard. You could either paint the flowers on or maybe use a Dremel to engrave them, then paint in the engraved areas? Maybe someone else can chime in on a better DIY technique...

I think my ES-295 pickguard is actually clear plexiglass, with the flowers painted through a stencil on the underside of the pickguard, and then a layer of cream paint behind/beneath that...

That's how I would try to DIY it, anyway...
