I am considering an "Esquire" project and the pickup I would use is a Dimarzio Super Distortion T. I want to use a 4 way switch and get these settings if possible:

    1. Straight to Jack
    2. With Volume and Tone
    3. With Volume and tone Coils in Parallel
    4. Cocked Wah type sound

Is this possible? If so....I think I'm onto something.....

    Thanks for any help.

Should be easy enough, just map it out on paper first and wire it up. And if your not comfortable with a soldering iron take it to your local guitar/electronic guru and explain how you would like it to work.

Thanks. I am comfy with a Soldering Iron. I do my own mods and pickup changes etc. I'm just not completely familiar with:

    1. The two sides to a 4 way switch and what does what
    2. The Correct way to make the 4 wire Dimarzio go parallel

I have done "autosplitting" with a 5 way before, but that consists of "grounding out" some leads on the 4 wire. I assume going parallel is a bit different.

If this is indeed possible and someone could help specifically about which wires go where, that would be awesome.
