My 'eternity' has turned into a AM radio. Is there anything I can do about it ?

What kinda cables are you using?

I used to use PW cables, and in my old rehearsal space, as soon as I stomped on my Hot Brit, I got some Japanese radio station comin through the amp. Changing to lava cables significantly helped.

I don't think this is an "Eternity" thing. Any high-gain device can pick-up RF.

When I got mine, there was a strange squeal and oscillation going on and it was primarily when the pedal was off. I sent it back to Sean and it turned out two of the wires in the pedal were too close and causing the problem.
Definitley call Sean, he'll take care of it.

drop it on it's creamy head once and messed up the tone knob control, i was too freaked out, so i called sean, and he walked me through the minor
repair, and good to go! e. mail him and ask his opinion, he is great to deal

I don't have the problem of picking up radio stations, but do find it pretty noisy in comparison with other overdrive pedals I own (e.g. Hotcake, BBOD, PPF (fuzz))

My Timmy sometimes picks up AM radio, but only at home and with my Blues Jr. I've never had it happen during rehearsals or gigs.

    Cheers,

    Johan.

Thanks guys, I'd email sean if I had his address. no contact info on the web site. Has any one ever tried to line the inside of a effects box with copper foil to act as an RF shield ? Just a passing thought

Check the input jack make sure its really tight..

It could be a number of unseeable things..
The stock chip is noisier than the TL072ACN chip but it shouldn't cause RF

    I will PM you

The Lord speaks through my Beano Boost. hehe

When I am at my brothers house playing my Beano Boost pulls in the "Moody Bible Network", a small christian radio station 20 miles from his house, which can be interesting.. He has the same problem with his Fuchs TDS50. He kids about just selling his house and moving becauseof it... Maybe he is not kidding. LOL

Mine is also picking up a small amount of RF at home, but I haven't noticed it at shows.
