    Hi everybody,
here are some clips I've recorded with my new Ethos Overdrive.
All in all a fantastic pedal, that nails, IMHO, the Ford/Carlton tone, and then some. A fantastic tool to record direct, don't know much about using it in front of an amp, since I haven't played live in a long time.

I've recorded 3 clips to show some of what it can do:

    1) SHAKE IT MAMA
A live loop, totally improvised, recorded with my Greco SG, into Ethos overdrive, out from spk.sim. out into soundcard, into Guitar Rig 3 software used for effects and as a looper. As often happens, you can hear me kick in the boost of the overdrive towards the end.

    2) UNDERWORLD
Again recorded with my Greco SG, into Ethos overdrive pedal, into Guitar Rig 3 used for effects and as a looper.
It starts with me playing fingerstyle, then switching to a pick, then kicking in the boost on the pedal. Towards the end you can hear me using both pickups (Greco originals) with Peter Green mod. Again totally improvised on the spot.

    3) ROY'S MEMORY
Recorded with my Tokai tele with Don Mare pickups and Nancy heart pot, into Ethos overdrive with bright switch on and boost on, into Guitar Rig 3 used for effects and as a looper. Totally live impro.

from there go to the files I mentioned.
I hope this works out better for some of you.

    Thanks!

    I've just added this one:

    http://www.soundclick.com/player/single_player.cfm?songid=6268929&q=hi

this time recorded with my Epiphone Firebird VII using the pickups out of phase, into Ethos, into Guitar Rig 3 used for effects and as a looper. Played Fingerstyle.
Great sound, in my humble opinion of course.
Tell me how you like this one.......:BOUNCE

Ops, sorry it doesn't work for you. :(

Anyway, the name of the clip is PHASES

Hope you can get to it through the other link to my main page:
    http://www.soundclick.com/bands/default.cfm?bandID=804454

Also, keep in mind that these are mp3s at 128, not exactly the best as far as audio quality, the wav files do sound much better.
