    Hi,

After having listened to Nighttrain's direct clip of his Ethos I wanted to try to record three levels of gain myself. I used almost the same settings as he dig on the clean and the low gain but used the lo gain setting plus boost to get the high gain sound in the last two choruses.

The tune is a bluesy number I put together for the purpose of trying the Ethos with single coils. The track was recorded with a Tyler SE HD. Clean was neck + mid, low gain was neck and the boosted high gain was the bridge HB. Cheated a bit at the end. :D
Tried very hard to play with dynamics in order to show that aspect of the pedal.

The track is called "Satisfying Setting" and can be found here:

Please be aware of that this is a quick and dirty take but comments are still welcome.

A clean channel "real" tune with the Ethos is coming next.

    Cheers,

    Mats N

    Hi,

Thanks for the comments. Always appreciated!

My appreciation to Nighttrain for giving me the setting that inspired this take. I know I can do very little without inspiration.

    Cheers,
