I guess folks must be on vacation Chris...I sure did think folks would be grateful for getting to try the pedals for free and be forthcoming with reviews but I guess you live and you learn...I am officially out of the tourbox bus. as I'm not into babysitting or hassling folks...

    FYI, I've ordered a Kompressor.
I'm not going to explain why here, but I can say that Matt has a first class customer service!

That is really bad news, tourbox is such a great idea, but I totally understand Your point :(

OTOH there is a saying: "The third time is the charm", right? :AOK

Although i.e. Mad Professor tourbox would probably create some serious GAS :D

I love my TK-23 Kompressor...studio style opto circuitry with germamium warmth-superb!

actually this was the original plan before Okko and Telenordia came on the scene...I contacted Bjorn who in turn contacted Harri (Custom-Sounds distributor for BJF and MP pedals) who said as soon as received the next shipment of MP pedals he would put together a tourbox and send it to me...I sent a couple of subsequent emails that were never answered by Harri so I lost interest...

Still with me, I'm afraid... I've been waiting for Sam to come and pick 'em up, since we live in the same city nowadays, but haven't really wanted to hassle him too much about it... Sorry!

Andy sorry if this is obvious but I think you need to express the pedals back to Matt asap! The tourbox is over!

The pedals are with Sam, Matt knows about it, everything is cool(-ish?). I'll try and get my reviews done ASAP amidst all the chaos that is my home at the moment, but I think we still miss a few of the previous testers' reviews as well? ;)

Hey, i ve read that some of you plays through telenordia tortenmann ta24 ?
I ve read that it is very versatile, but i don t know what to think about the ac128 germanium touch ( sound, tone color) vs a beano...
There aren t any videos of a review, maybe someone could make one, it would be great...
    Thanks

Here's a vid that has mine in briefly (also Klon and Fetto Nord for comparison). the ODs start around 3:30... I used to own a Beano so I can compare a bit. The Beano will give you more of the true Rangemaster grunt and throatiness. The TA-24 is more versatile, having the 6 click knob (vs full mid high on the Beano) and also a treble know which I find very useful.

I loved the Beano but found it hard to use without tweaking my amp sound to it. On the TA-24 I find I can step on it with my amp set up to suit my whole board and I get the Germanium feel in a way that doesn't jump out too much...

Hope that helps. I can try and demo it a bit more when I'm home next week. What guitar/amp do you play.

    Chris

My Telenordia TT3 Trem has been on my board for more than 10 years now. That's longer than any other Trem.....
