Eurorack vs 500 series....

Can somebody please explain to me what a Eurorack is and what it does? And also what the 500 series effects/preamps are and the context in which they are used?

A Eurorack is a bottom of the line mixer series by Behringer.

The 500 format is a powered rack system, which allows you to mix and match components like mic pres, EQ, compressors and many more, in one rack.

Another context for Eurorack is modular synths. Lots of players in the game, and also DIY, much like 500 series for pres, eqs, compressors.
