I just scored the silicon version off of eBay for $89.00. This is my initial foray into fuzz face territory and I've heard some good things (and a clip from Mitch Wyman) on the Crucible. As a FF clone, did I make a good choice? What is your experience...pros and cons?

The Euthymia Crucible is a great sounding silicon Fuzz Face.

I haven't tried the Crucible, but own the original Crest that it's apparently based on. If yours sounds anything like mine, then you're in for a real treat. I've tried lots (and I mean lots!) of different fuzzes, but keep coming back to this one. You'll have to post your impressions.

The Crucible (in either Ge or Si form) is a great way to get to know the Fuzz Face :AOK

Thanx for the replies. The only other fuzz I've had was a Bender Over Under and I couldn't get a good tone out of it to save my life. I'm hoping the Crucible will live up to it's reputation. Do anyone know if there is an internal trimmer on these?
