Even if Rhoads came back from the grave it couldnt save Ozzy.

Man I was watching quite a few Ozzy videos lately and Cripes is the guy horrid on most his mid 90's and up stuff live.
Even the auto tune and big screen monitors with directions and words doesnt seem too help him.
No wonder Iommi,Geezer and Ward/Appice have put off playing and recording with him for so long.
Im a big fan of most of his works but my god Ozzy needs too take care of Ozzy for awhile and retire.
I was stoked he booted Zakk in favor of new blood awhile back but damn it was ten years too late imo.

Sharon is both a genius and a crazy bitch. I guess it's good to have her on your team though.

I've seen him a few times over the years and he gets worse every time :)

He definitely should pack it in, but probably won't as long as he fill the big venues.

He did a great job on that one song with Metallica a few weeks ago for the Rock-n-roll hall of fame show. He looked ten years younger.

Help me understand this one...

Saw Sabbath at OzzFest about 6-7 years ago. While Sabbath was on, there was a guy sitting right off stage literally singing along with every vocal line. He was set up right off the side of the stage with a mic, music stand, etc. We were about 20 rows back, and had a clear view of this guy the entire show.

My only guess was that he was maybe being piped through Ozzy's monitors for pitch reference? Maybe? The vocals sure as hell sounded like Ozzy, so I don't THINK we were hearing that guy. ???

Ozzy was horrible when I saw him back in '82 (Jake E. Lee's first tour). The only thing that saved the show was his band.

Last time I saw Ozzy was in 2000 with Sabbath and he was incredible. Best I've EVER heard him sing live.

Caught this tour as well as the one after it. The 2000 one was pretty good, and they had dropped stuff that he was obviously not hitting with any consistency. Like Sabbath Bloody Sabbath, for instance, which did appear on the Reunion Live cd. But, the next Ozzfest tour they were downright killer! I had never gotten to see them back in the day, and this one show totally made up for it. Into the Void? OMFG!!!! Just fantastic, and Ozzy sang quite well.

Give the guy a break.
The man's been doing this longer than some of us have been alive! Sorry he ain't no "Midas", but who is? I consider myself an Ozzy fan...as much as a fan of AC/DC, Iron Maiden, and Van Halen...I don't have all of their albums either. Which reminds me...
As much as I like Van Halen, I think the same thing can be said for them. DLR came back, did some concerts, and...we're still waiting!

I dunno, undead Rhoads backing the OzMan? I'd buy it...

That would definitely be a show to see firsthand. Assuming they could prevent undead Randy from attacking the audience.

I hear the undead like to eat the brains of the living.

Thats a myth perpetuated by the industry.
They really only eat fingers and toes.
Yep I guess an Undead Rhoads(my favorite guitarist) would make just about anyone sound good.
I really do like Ozzy a lot and Im not really bagging on him but he needs a Rest. Seriously or at least a meaningful and complete body/mind rehab.
Im liking his pick of Gus G as well. Even though he sounded Zakk'sh on his first show he really hit most songs quite well.
He also shows some great lead abilities in his last band.

It depends on whether he's one of them slow zombies or one of them fast ones.
