Eventide H9 questions

im thinking about finishing off my pedal chain with the H9. But I have a few questions for those that have gone before me.

Does take daisy chained power alright?

Is the noise floor a bit loud (I found the space to have a slightly noticeable noise floor)

Does it sum to mono when only using one out?

Thanks ya'll

1. No - it consumes a lot of power - you really should have it on an isolated supply.

2. The noise floor is low, and the input/output levels are adjustable so you can set it up to have very little noise, but there is a noise floor, in my experience. It depends how picky you are. It is absolutely a pro piece of gear - not a cheap/noisey product, but there is some noise.

3. Yes, it can sum to mono, or even be set in pre/post mode.

Yeah don't daisy chain. It takes a lot of current and has center positive.

I have 2 of them on different boards. Both of them are on their own outlet.
Go left mono out and you will be fine. I have good luck with a Cioks one on one board. I have a voodo Labs 4x4 on another.
Both of those power it fine.

I accidentally daisy chained it once (got my outputs mixed up on my cioks dc-10).

Made a horrible high pitched noise continuously.

Do not daisy chain it.

It does come with an adaptor, if you don't have an isolated PS.
