I've got a space and I programmed a few presets. How can I tell where the knobs were?

Yes. Turn CATCHUP on. It's an option in the System Menu under UTILITY. (See the Space User Guide for more details.)

There you go. After making this setting change, when you initially turn the knob (that you want to change) you will see the presets value until you pass it and then you set it wherever you want. If you turn the preset off the value will stay in place until you either save it or go to another preset. It comes in handy if you want to tweak something just for that song at that moment, just like a "regular" pedal.
