Nice, and you still have the time multiply for the looped material.
Yeah, one for every person who complained about the color of the pedal.
It appears that Christian took a break from a busy day of filming Rose demos for you all:
Yikes. That was pretty terrible. Thanks anyway.
I would have been much happier with a real demo =).
We're getting closer!
Here's one from the Eventide brand ambassador in Italy (in Italian):
And an amazing ambient demo from one of the users who won the giveaway for Valentines day:
Everybody here has been crunching on shipping the pedal, but we shot a ton of cool footage yesterday that our video guy is editing together as we speak.
Now we're talking, sounds very promising. @splatt , did you check this one at NAMM?
Much better (although I do need to brush up on my Italian). Thanks and Cheers!
Now we're starting to get somewhere. Cheers.
We fixed that link, and some stuff in the video. Here's the new one:
More to come!
Here are another couple of videos I found. Sounding pretty good.
Thank you Ambient Endeavors, your demos are 20x better than the official Eventide ones so far. I think the pedal sounds pretty great all the way around.
I'm VERY impressed with the tones from this pedal, it's been really fun to dive into it. I love how the filter offers a wide range that gets closer to digital repeats at its brightest and very warm/dark analog-y repeats. I favor an analog leaning tone with enough clarity to cut through, and there are nice sweet spots. The modulation is really nice as well, and having reverse and the delay multiplier is so stinkin cool for an ambient lover to get some cool pitch shift/shimmer and other weird glitchy effects with. I have to say the only thing I've found to complain about is the aesthetics (personal preference) and not being stereo, but aside from that I think they absolutely nailed both in sound quality and features.
Yeah, you've done a really great job of showing off the pedal. Glad you like it!
Thanks! Any chance we could get a demo of *very* long delay times, using some of the square-wave modulation/reverse/multiplier features?
There's a lot of reverse/multiplier in the first video, but I can make a note to do a super long delay video w/ those features. I'll put it in the queue
I programmed a long 32 second delay today and put the same length reverse on the hotswitch setting.
If Eventide will let me I'll make a video. Super easy to do but be forewarned if the reverse is as long as the forward it will take some time to cycle once you hit that switch.
What works better is going maybe an 8 second reverse (or less) on the hotswitch IMO or thereabouts.
Are you allowed to tell us how long the tap in/tap out lasts? I'm hoping it's like the El Capistan's SOS mode where you can splice in, play your loop, and then splice out by hitting the tap button again. I think the El Cap gives you 20 seconds. Can you set a long loop length like this using the Rose?
