Just purchased Timefactor used off CL. The Timefactor came with a Line 6 power supply that says it is 9VAC/1200 mA. On the back of the TF, it says 9VDC/1200 mA.

Am I safe to use the AC adapter when it calls for DC?
What damage could have been cause if not safe to use?

    Thanks in advance.

Sounds like the wrong plug. Does it fit in the power outlet? The Eventide uses a smaller sized plug... I would just get a new plug on Ebay for $10

Yes it fits. It's what the user said he has used on it withnl no problems. I just don't want to "F" it up.

    Output should be 9VDC.

The first power supply (straight jack) is 1200 mA. The most recent one (right angle jack) is 500mA.
Both will work, just make sure to get any power supply capable of deliver 9-12V DC at >400mA
