Do these kind work well enough to be trustworthy?

In my Rivera the EL34's hang upside down. They are snug enough that I have to wiggle a lot to work them out, but I play on stage loud enough that I'd feel a lot safer if there was something there to help them stay put.

These spring metal clamp style retainers seem like they would be the easiest to install, no drilling.

Tubes hanging upside down is standard amp fare, and those clips are fine.

You can yank the tubes out and pinch the clips slightly, then re-install the tubes. This will make a tighter contact.
