I was reading some of my early "contributions," and realized that being a part of TGP has really softened some formerly rigid opinions on music and guitar. Like Jack White. Or melody vs. speed. I'm grateful for it, but couldn't help wondering if anybody else looks back on these things and thinks, "man, I was an idiot."

I'd like to. But most of them have been deleted by the mods. :bonk

Looking back, I often feel that I should refrain from posting anything on days ending with a "y".

I guess a certain amount of self loathing is healthy.

Absolutely. And by 'old posts' I mean anything older than yesterday.

Yes. And I don't post nearly as often as I used to. Usually I type a response then delete it.

You are aware that the mods can still see those and they are part of your permanent record, right?

I always hold a magnet up to the router just to make sure they get deleted.

No, I'm on so many ignore lists that I'm basically talking to myself.

Did Blueboy say something? Was it "the flame, the flame, the blue flame at the center of the earth..." ?
